Mrs. Bela Devi Khanal

We would like to express our deep sympathy towards Khanal family. Mrs. Bela Devi Khanal, grandmother of Mr. J.N. Khanal (ANQ Executive Member: 2009-2011) left her loved ones on Thursday, 10th November 2011 in Kapilbastu, Lumbini, Nepal.

85 yrs old, Mrs. Khanal has 4 sons, 4 daughters and 25 grand-children in her immediate family. She is always remembered after her love to all friends and family members.

We hereby pray the God to keep her soul in peace and help her family members to overcome this loss.


Mr. Lila Nath Poudel

We would like to express our deep sympathy towards Poudel family. Mr. Lila Nath Poudel, father of Mrs. Manju Poudel Dahal and father-in-law of Mr. Hemanta Dahal (ANQ Executive Secretary) left his loved ones on Sunday, 10th October 2010 at 12:05 pm local time in Chandragadhi, Jhapa, Nepal.

72 yrs old, Mr. Poudel has his 2 wives, 2 brothers, 1 sister, 5 daughters, 1 son and 12 grand-children in his immediate family. He had high blood pressure since last few years and 7 months ago, he was diagnosed of brain hemorrage causing him to stay in hospital for three weeks. He is always remembered after his devotion to religious activities, and his love to all friends and family members. Everybody says that he never even souted anyone in his life. He always loved and helped all whomever he could.

We hereby pray the God to keep his soul in peace and help his family members to overcome this unexpeced loss.


Message of Sympathy

Photo We would like to pay our deepest sympathy on 100th day of his peaceful dismiss of our late Prime Minister Mr. Girija Prasad Koirala. Mr. Koirala will always be remembered for his contribution on peace process of the country and national integrity. The country lost a great leader. For a conclusive ends of Nepal’s peace process all the political parties have to sacrifice their personal interests and come on mutual understanding for the country and take the peace process to a conclusive ends.


Mrs. Tej Kumari Khatri

We would like to express our deep sympathy towards Khatri family. Mrs. Tej Kumari Khatri, mother of Mr. Govinda Khatri (ANQ Executive Member 2003-2006) left her loved ones on 23rd December 2010 in Bir Hospital, Kathmandu, Nepal.

68 yrs old, Mrs. Khatri has her husband, 2 daughters, 1 son and 3 grand-children in her immediate family. She didnot have any health problems and was always devoted to religious activities. She was brought to the hospital two weeks ago after she had caught fire in her own bedroom on Jan 11, 2010. On 22nd December, she stopped speaking and went to coma and on 23rd December, she stopped her heart-bits and left this material world for ever.

Condolence: Mr. Madhusudan Bista

We would like to express our deep sympathy towards Bista family. Mr. Madhusudan Bista, father of Mrs. Anju Mahat and father-in-law of Mr. Raj Kumar Mahat (President, ANQ Executive Committee 2001-2003) left his loved ones on 15th October 2009 in Kathmandu, Nepal.

72 yrs old, Mr. Bista has his 4 daughters, and 6 grand-children in his immediate family. He always had good health but only couple of months before, he was diagnosed of kidney failures. Because of this, he stopped his heart-bits while whole family was preparing for upcoming festival Dashain and left this material world to take path to the heavens.

Condolence: Mrs. Misthu Maiya Kanel

We would like to express our deep sympathy towards Kanel family. Mrs. Misthu Maiya Kanel, mother of Mr. Rajesh Kanel (ANQ Member), left her loved ones on 26th September 2009 in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Born in 1938, Mrs. Kanel has her husband, 3 sons, 1 daughter, and 11 grand-children in her immediate family. She always had good health. After final preparation of Dashain 2009, she went to sleep around 10:00 pm. In a few minutes, Mr. Kanel (her husband) called her to know if she was still awake. She didnot answer and he went to see her and noticed that she was counting her final seconds of life. Without any difficulties and without showing a tiny fear, she stopped her heart-bits while her most loved husband was holding her. She left this material world and went to the heavens.

Condolence: Mr. Basanta Dahal

We would like to express our deep sympathy towards Dahal family. Mr. Basanta Dahal, brother of Mr. Hemanta K. Dahal (ANQ Executive Member), left his loved ones on 28th May 2008 in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Born in 2008 B.S., Mr. Dahal has his mother, father, wife, 3 daughters and 1 son in his immediate family. On his final days of life, he had fever for 3 days, started antibiotics, and became unconscious. He was brought to Kathmandu unconscious and admitted to hospital where he was able to breath only for 18 hours. Nobody got a chance to speak to him. He didnot have any visible problem that would cause him stop his heart-bits but still, he left all his loved ones. We hereby pray the God to keep his soul in peace and help his family members to overcome this unexpeced loss.


Condolence: Mrs. Sobha Gautam

We would like to express our deep sympathy towards Gautam family. Mrs. Sobha Gautam, mother of Mr. Rajendra Gautam (ANQ General Member), left her loved ones on 7th May 2008 in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Born in 1999 B.S., Mrs. Gautam had her husband, 3 sons, 1 daughter and 6 grand-children in her immediate family. On her final days of life, she didnot have any visible problem that would cause her stop breathing in the first week of May. We hereby pray the God to keep her soul in peace and help her family members to overcome this unexpeced loss.


Our Tribute to Sir Edmund Hillary

The first climber of world's highest mountain - Mount Everest 8,850 m (29,035 ft) peak with Mr. Sherpa, Tenzing Norgay on 29 May 1953 - Sir Edmund Hillary died at the age of 88 years on 11 January 2008. He was honoured many national and international presitgious awards. The legendary mountaineer, adventurer, and philanthropist is the best-known New Zealander. He was the honourary citizen of Nepal also.

We deeply mourn his passing away.

We would like to express our deep sympathy towards Budhathoki and Limbu family. Mrs. Bishnu Kumari Budhathoki, mother of Laxmi Shrestha, mother-in-law of Mr. Sajir Shrestha (ANQ President 2005-2006), left her loved ones on 9 October 2007 in Dharan, Nepal.

Born in 2001 B.S., Mrs. Budhathoki had arthritis for some years and which is one of the causes that forced her to stop breathing last October. We hereby pray the God to keep her soul in peace and help her family members to overcome this unexpeced loss.

We would like to express our deep sympathy towards Rasaili family. Mr. Bhakta Rasaili, brother of Miss Amita Rasaili - ANQ Executive Member, left his loved ones on Wednesday, 22 August 2007 at 5:30 am.

Late Mr. Rasaili stopped his breath after passing 52 years in his life. We hereby pray the God to keep his soul in peace and help his family members to overcome this loss.


Condolence: Mr. Som Bahadur Rana

We would like to express our deep sympathy towards Rana family. Mr. Som Bahadur Rana, father of Mr. Raju Rana (ANQ General Member), left his loved ones on March 10, 2007.

Late Mr. Rana stopped his breath after passing 72 years in his life. We hereby pray the God to keep his soul in peace and help his family members to overcome this loss.


Mr. Bhagwan Giri

We would like to express our deep sympathy towards Giri family. Mr. Bhagwan Giri, father of Mrs. Saluja Giri and father-in-law of Mr. Gajendra Thapa (Treasurer - ANQ 2005-2006), left his loved ones on March 10, 2007.

Late Mr. Giri had blood pressure and sugar problem for some years. From 6th March, he had more problems. Due to this, he stopped breathing after passing 82 springs in his life. After this event, no one of this age are left behind to give blessings to all children, grand-children and others in Giri family.

Mrs. Dhanamaya Limbu

We would like to express our deep sympathy towards Limbu family and Mukhiya family. Mrs. Dhanamaya Limbu, mother of Mrs. Amrita Saini, left her loved ones just after reaching 60 years of age, in this second week of February 2007.

Eventhough she had some health problems in the past, she was always supportive to the whole family and gave courage and blessings to all her children, grand-children and other family members.

We hereby pray the God to keep her soul in peace and help her family members to overcome their huge loss after this unexpected event.


Mr. Rajendra Kunwar

We would like to express our deep sympathy towards Kunwar family. Mr. Rajendra Kunwar (father of Mrs. Sumitra Khatri and father-in-law of Govinda Khatri - Member of Executive Committee 2003-2005, ANQ) was born in Sindhuli, Nepal and left his loved ones on Friday, 2nd June 2006.

Only 47 years old, father of 6 young children, Mrs. Janaki Kunwar's husband, Mr. Kunwar was working in Ministry of Transport office in Janakpur for a long time. He was in sound health in his life. All of a sudden, he got a high fever of 106-107�F two weeks ago. After getting treatment in Janakpur for a few days and an staying in intensive care unit for three days in Kathmandu Medical College (Kathmandu), Mr. Kunwar decided to leave this material world on Friday morning at 1:00 am.

We hereby pray the God to keep his soul in peace and to help his family overcome their unmeasurable loss after this unexpected event.


Mr. Dinesh Rai

We would like to express our deep sympathy towards Rai family. Mr. Dinesh Rai - brother-in-law of Ratna Mani Hartamchhali (Member of Advisory Committee 2003-2005, ANQ) was born in Khotang, Sagarmatha, Nepal and left her loved ones on 24 November 2005.

While going to Jhapa to meet his father, the bus in which he was riding had an accident at Manglabare, Morang. Some passengers were injured but he could not keep his soul in this material world.

We hereby pray the God to keep his soul in peace and help his family to overcome their huge loss after this unexpected event.


Mr. Indra Bahadur Thapa

We would like to express our deep sympathy towards Thapa family. Mr. Indra Bahadur Thapa - father of Mr. Gajendra Thapa (Treasurer of Executive Committee, ANQ) was born in Dharan, Morang, Nepal and left her loved ones on 11 November 2005 in Siliguri, West Bengal, India.

After sliping at his home, he was brought to hospital and checked by Dr. Chang. But in front of God's invitation, the doctor could not force him to stay with his family members.

We hereby pray the God to keep his soul in peace and help her family to overcome their huge loss after this unexpected event.


Mrs. Jharana Sharma (1931-2005)

We would like to express our deep sympathy towards Baral family. Mrs. Jharana Sharma, mother of Mr. Pabitra Updhyaya (Member of previous ANQ Advisory Committee) was born in 1931 and left her loved ones on 30 July 2005 in Pokhara, Nepal.

Mrs. Nhuchhe Maya Maharjan (1935-2005)

We would like to express our deep sympathy towards Maharjan family. Mrs. Nhuchhe Maya Maharjan, mother of Mr. Bal Makunda Maharjan (Treasurer of ANQ Executive Committee) was born in 1935 and left her loved ones on 26 April 2005 in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Mr. Rajendra Rasaili (1942-2005)

We would like to express our deep sorrow on the death of Mr. Rajendra Rasaili. Our executive committee member Ms. Amaita Rasaili's uncle, Mr. Rasaili was born in the year 1942 and left his loved ones on 5 April 2005 in Kathmandu, Nepal.

12 Nepalese in Iraq

ANQ would like to express our deep sorrow on the brutal assassination of 12 innocent Nepalese in Iraq at the end of August 2004. Nepalese residing in the province of Quebec (Canada) strongly condemn this inhuman activity of Iraqi militants.

Though our brothers who had a big dream of earning good life making some money for their family got an unbelievable and untimely death, we hereby pray God to keep their soul in peace and help their family to overcome their huge loss after this event.
